Destination: Browns Creek

Directions: Browns Creek is north of Heckscher Dr, midway between 9A and the ferry across from Blount Island.You can reach it via the Ferry and heading west, or 9A taking Heckscher Dr exit east.

Description: Browns Creek is across from Blount Island just west of Clapboard Creek. This area has lots of finger creeks, grass, and oyster beds for great fishing.

Difficulty: Easy.

Closest Bait&Tackle Shop: White Shell Fish Camp

Launches: There is 1 launch for kayak fishing.

  • L1 - The area on the southeast corner of the Brown's Creek bridge is an easy launch. There is room for several cars but beware that you park in a spot that will be dry come high tide - after launch we recommend parking up towards the street. Many small boats put in here also. It can be a little muddy at the bottom of low tide at the launch. Parking is unsecured.
